WhatsApp is getting stickier with its parent, Facebook. The largest messaging service in the world has just released the latest features in the status section.
Now, the status that is displayed on WhatsApp can be directly shared to Facebook Story. The same ability was first added on Instagram.
Facebook is indeed planning to further connect the three services. Even if nothing gets in the way, next year users can send messages across platforms on Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram.
"Now if you want to send messages to people on Facebook you have to use Messenger, on Instagram you have to use Direct, and on WhatsApp you have to use WhatsApp," said Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, some time ago.
"We want to give people choices so they can reach their friends across this network from any application they want," he continued.
The integration that Facebook will do does not stop there. Later it will include compatibility with Message. So it allows users to send Message to someone using Facebook Messenger.
