Change Profile Picture
Changing Profile Picture On Facebook - I've made obvious of my distaste for Facebook's interface, which is equivalent components unpleasant, complex, and outright maddening.
As an example, expect you want to alter your profile picture. Seems like the type of alternative you may locate in, claim, Account Setups. Nope, not there. Personal privacy Setups? Nuh-uh.
Well, maybe if you click your name to open your profile, you'll locate the choice there. Allow's see ... no, there's absolutely nothing that says "modification account photo." Oh, below we go, I'll bet if you click Update Info ...
One more strike. What's that, now, 4?
This is yet another of Facebook's extremely unknown settings that's actually concealing in plain view. (Previous offender: location sharing.) To change your account picture, do this:
1. Open your profile by clicking your name, either on the left side (below the Facebook logo design) or the appropriate side of the toolbar up top.
2. Mouse over your current photo image, click Edit Account Image, after that pick an alternative (Choose From Photos, Upload Photo, Edit Thumbnail, and so on) from the drop-down menu that appears.
That's right! All this moment, the option was right there-- provided you hovered your computer mouse in the appropriate area. Begin, Facebook, you can do better. (Quick note: If you happened to mount one of the Facebook-photo-zoom devices I discussed the other day, you might locate that the pop-up image covers the Edit Profile Picture device. Bleh.).
There is, unquestionably, an additional way to tackle this. If you intend to turn an image that's already in your Facebook collection right into your account image, you could-- yet, once more, discovering the choice can be maddening unless you understand where to look.
Locate the picture you want, after that click it to raise the full-size variation in its own window. Currently, see that little gear symbol in the upper-right edge? Click it, and after that pick Make Profile Picture. Why there's not a switch for this alongside Tag Image, Include Location, etc. is past me.
Does this worsen you as long as it does me? Or do you believe I'm being extremely rough? Either way, share your thoughts in the remarks!
