How To Change My Profile Picture On Facebook - I've made obvious of my distaste for Facebook's interface, which is equal parts messy, confusing, and outright infuriating.
As an example, expect you want to alter your profile picture. Appears like the kind of alternative you may locate in, claim, Account Setups. Nope, not there. Personal privacy Settings? Nuh-uh.

1. Open your profile by clicking your name, either on the left side (listed below the Facebook logo) or the best side of the toolbar up top.
2. Computer mouse over your present image picture, click Edit Account Image, then choose an alternative (Choose From Photos, Upload Picture, Edit Thumbnail, etc.) from the drop-down menu that shows up.
That's right! All this time, the choice was right there-- supplied you hovered your computer mouse in the ideal spot. Come on, Facebook, you can do much better. (Quick note: If you occurred to mount one of the Facebook-photo-zoom tools I mentioned the other day, you might find that the pop-up picture covers the Edit Account Picture tool. Bleh.).
There is, admittedly, one more means to tackle this. If you want to turn an image that's already in your Facebook library right into your account image, you could-- however, again, finding the option can be infuriating unless you understand where to look.
Locate the image you desire, after that click it to bring up the full-size variation in its very own window. Now, see that small gear symbol in the upper-right edge? Click it, and then select Make Account Image. Why there's not a switch for this alongside Tag Image, Add Area, etc. is past me.
