How Do I Change Facebook Profile Picture - I have actually made no secret of my distaste for Facebook's interface, which is equivalent components messy, complex, and outright frustrating.

2. Mouse over your current photo picture, click Edit Profile Image, then select a choice (Pick from Photos, Upload Picture, Edit Thumbnail, etc.) from the drop-down menu that appears.
That's right! All this time, the choice was right there-- supplied you floated your mouse in the best place. Come on, Facebook, you can do far better. (Quick note: If you occurred to install among the Facebook-photo-zoom tools I pointed out recently, you could find that the pop-up image obscures the Edit Account Photo tool. Bleh.).
There is, undoubtedly, an additional means to tackle this. If you intend to transform a picture that's currently in your Facebook library right into your profile photo, you could-- however, once more, finding the alternative can be infuriating unless you recognize where to look.
Discover the photo you desire, then click it to bring up the full-size version in its own window. Currently, see that small equipment symbol in the upper-right edge? Click it, and afterwards choose Make Account Photo. Why there's not a button for this along with Tag Photo, Add Place, and so on is beyond me.
